The venue of the anniversary ceremony is
World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB), Platz der Vereinten Nationen 2, 53113 Bonn.
The former plenary hall of the German Bundestag in the WCCB is centrally located in the former government quarter. The 1st July 1999 marked the last parliamentary session in the building, which was only completed in 1992, before the seat of government and parliament moved to Berlin. The former plenary hall offers a unique and truly "parliamentary" atmosphere.
